Great pubs with good food and local ales. Our ‘local’ is 2 miles away. A traditional Devon Pub: roaring fires in winter & beer garden in summer. We’ve several proper Devon pubs all worth a visit at any time of year
There are several supermarkets in Exeter (10 miles), Newton Abbot (7 miles) as well as Dawlish and Teignmouth closer to home. All big supermarkets will deliver to your Ashcombe Cottage, just make sure you are there first!
Devon is famous for Brixham the ‘Fish Town’ of Britain and excellent local farm produce. All best sampled in a great range of local restaurants from simple fare all the way to Michelin Stars and “Best in the UK” category

The cottages are ideally located with beaches, Dartmoor and lots of attractions nearly all within a 30 minute drive on main roads, avoiding hours stuck in the car
The beaches of Dawlish are about 3 miles away or go sailing in Starcross or Teignmouth
The national park is right on the doorstep. In under 30 minutes you can be climbing Hay Tor
Famous racecourses, stunning golf courses to The Devon County Show and summer regattas
There are a huge number of family attractions including zoos, theme parks and water parks

The Cider Barn
Great holiday home for large groups, despite being a shared area the cottages still manage to provide privacy and a feel of seclusion. The shared pool rota works really well and we had plenty of fun in the pool and games room. The area is very peaceful but it’s not a far drive from towns/beaches. The cottage itself gives a really nice rural feel but has all the necessary amenities. A lovely place to stay”

Wow what a beautiful place. We have just arrived home from our holiday in Nut Tree Farm. It was perfect for our large group. Plenty of space and a bonus that every room was en-suite. Both pools and games room were great and we all loved it including the sauna. Beautiful places to visit locally. Everyone said they had the best time and I will certainly remember my 50th birthday.
