“A proper pucker decent down to earth happy smiley local music festival” Glas-Denbury is a safe, family friendly festival held in a beautiful Devon setting on 6 & 7th July.
If you are just dipping your toes in the festival scene then it’s the place to start! The music starts at 7pm on Friday and 11am on Saturday and takes place on 5 different stages. The Butterfly Bazaar hosts quality food stalls offering locally sourced foods and lots of stalls from which to purchase goodies and gifts and festival attire!
The bars are stocked with local Devon real ale and cider and the Cocktail bar offers a myriad of cocktails and plenty of jugs of Pimms. Glas-Denbury offers entertainment, activities & workshops for all ages, plenty of toilets, baby change facilities and chill out areas for families to relax in. A host of workshops and activities for all ages including laughter Yoga, Hula Hooping, Forest schools, archery & crafts and theatre. 6th and 7th July 2018.
Powderham Castle hosts an Historic Vehicle Gathering on the 7th & 8th July.
Enjoy the wonderful atmosphere, fun and games to include Veteran, Vintage and Classic Cars, Motorcycles, Classic Commercials, Full size and Miniature Steam Engines, Classic Car Club stands, Trade and Auto jumble and Craft Stalls, Children’s Entertainment, Refreshments and delicious food outlets. There really is something for everyone. There will be live music on Friday and Saturday night and local bands will be playing during the day on Saturday and Sunday.
Exeter’s beautiful Cathedral Green is the setting for the 43rd Exeter Craft Festival, which showcases the work of over 100 craftsmen and artists who live and work in the South-west. Exhibitors have been screened and selected for the quality of their work, and there is a wide variety to be enjoyed. Browse wood and metal-work, pottery, glass, precious metal and fun jewellery, leather, furniture, plants, textiles, toys, artistic works and photography, and more! Watch demonstrations of various crafts, and enjoy the family-friendly entertainment provided throughout the three days, all entirely free.
The festival runs from the 5th to 7th July 2018.
Let’s Rock Exeter! will take place in the grounds of the magnificent Powderham Castle on Saturday 30th June.
