Map & Directions to Ashcombe Country Cottages in South Devon

The Ashcombe Cottages are some of the quickest and easiest to reach in Devon, but please use our instructions and don’t rely on your sat-nav within the village as you may end up in the wrong place!

Follow M5 west past Exeter, stay on road as it becomes the A38

The dual carriageway comes to a very steep hill (Telegraph Hill) and splits.

Take the left fork road (A380 signed to Torquay).

Follow the road for about 3 miles from the top of the hill.

After a long avenue of beech trees, left exit signed Teignmouth (B3192)

At round-a-bout: go straight on towards “Ashcombe Cottages” and Teignmouth B3192.

Please DO NOT turn left to the village of Ashcombe.

After 1 mile left at sign for “Ashcombe Cottages” & “Ashcombe Adventure Centre”

Down Zig-Zag Hill

Past the entrance to the Ashcombe Adventure Centre on the left and follow the road along the valley

The Thatched Office is the first building you come to on your left signed “Cottage Office” at Nut Tree Farm.

Signs to other cottages are easy to see. You will have received emailed instructions for your cottage key-safes.
